Title: Assistant Manager, Logistics

Job Description

The Warehousing and Distribution Assistant Manager is responsible for:

• Formulating and implementing control systems for order processing, dispatching, return handling, documentation, and customer relations.
• Ensuring proper utilization and maintenance of office and distribution equipment, cleanliness, safety, and security.
• Reviewing and approving route plans based on operational needs.
• Monitoring the accuracy and completeness of delivery-related documents and computer system records.
• Coordinating with store management and support units to address complaints, rejects, returns, and supply shortages.
• Designing and adjusting work schedules for supervised personnel in outbound operations.
• Evaluating staffing efficiency and recommending personnel actions, including regularization, transfer, termination, training, and promotion.
• Ensuring adherence to FIFO principles and implementing material preservation methods.
• Maintaining warehouse equipment and coordinating repairs with the Engineering Maintenance Department.
  
  

Job Qualifications

• A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Management, Industrial Engineering, Commerce or Business Administration courses.
• With at least three (3) years experience in actual warehousing and distribution operations of various goods and supplies, including perishable items, in a supervisory capacity.
• Preferably with certification in GMP and HACCP.
• Must be proficient in coding methodologies, space optimization, material handling, distribution, transportation, warehouse layouts, documentation, and inventory control.
• Must have hands-on experience in inventory monitoring, shipment dispatching, replenishment scheduling, and warehouse administration.
• Knowledgeable in route design, truck configuration, and maintenance of chillers and freezers.
• Must be willing to work in Mandaue, Cebu.
