- Manage the entire payroll process for a growing team within the automotive industry.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions.
- Prepare reports for regular compliance audits and coordinate with HR for benefit integration.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state payroll laws.
- Collaborate closely with finance and administrative teams to streamline payroll procedures.
- Provide excellent service to our employees by addressing and resolving payroll-related inquiries.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
- Experience Level: Entry-level position, less than 1 year of experience required.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with employees regarding their pay.
- Proficient in computer literacy, including payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with HR consulting to integrate payroll systems with HR practices.
- Upholds a high level of discretion for confidential financial data.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and resolve payroll-related issues.
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparation, processing, and distribution of payroll.
- Compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Reconciliation of payroll discrepancies and validation of data.
- Generating payroll reports for management and audit purposes.
- Working Conditions: Office-based role with standard working hours; may require overtime during payroll processing weeks.
